Tour Through Glaciar Martial and Canal Beagle Ushuaia, Argentina
In 1884 the expedition led by Commodore Augusto Lasserre creates the Ushuaia Subprefecture on the banks of the Beagle Channel, the Martial Glacier is an attraction close to the city (its base is located only 7 km from the center) ideal for a half-day tour. Its wide path shows along its 900 m. stunning views of Ushuaia. With the winter snowfall it becomes an excellent place for beginners of alpine skiing and snowboarding. You can also travel in sledges with Siberian dogs. In 1994 the train that transported prisoners was again enabled, but this time for tourist purposes. Its route is incredible, starting at 8 km. of Ushuaia. From there he goes around the city and enters the Tierra del Fuego National Park, offering unique, totally meritorious views of a postcard.
