TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CAMPANY

RESERVATION POLICY

Before booking any program, you must request information of the chosen circuit at least 30 days in advance of the trip. We will respond by mail to all inquiries to verify the times and costs of the places to visit. Once this background has been reviewed by the passenger, the reservation must be requested to register it in the company's program. The registration will be informed by email confirming the hiring, so that the company initiates the processing and planning of the trip, coordinating with the collaborators and other external suppliers. Once you have completed the program, the kawésqar Overland Campany will inform you by email that you must make your reservation in advance of 50% of the total cost of the program. Once in the region, you will contact the company to pick you up from the hotel or the airport before the start of the trip, canceling the remaining 50% of the program.

 

CONTRACTING POLICIES

Reservations must be made in advance, at least 30 days before the start of the trip, but we recommend that it be at least 45 days before the closing of the program (seats). Each vehicle closes with 4 passengers. Our company, has as a requirement for booking the program to hire, the advance payment of 50% of the total contract of the program or service, the other 50% is paid the day before the start of the crossing. The initial charge is made to assure the client the realization of his program and to assume all the costs associated to the trip with our "collaborators", such as accommodations, private circuit reservations and park entrances; everything that is required for the effective development of it. The values of the programs are per person. For foreigners, in currency American Dollars (USD); and for Chilean residents, in Chilean pesos ($). All Programs are subject to Changes or modifications of Schedules or Vacancies by the different External Operators, "Collaborators", as they are accommodations and navigation, state public services both in Chile and in Argentina in case of border crossings. Our cancellation policies are based on these antecedents already indicated and will be subject to the conditions of our associated partners. The contracting of services is subject to all Chilean national laws and in accordance with the provisions of article 45 of the civil code, regarding force majeure and fortuitous cases.

 

REFUNDE

Any cancellation of a trip with our Company Kawésqar Overland must be done in a formal and written way to the emails specified on our website. If a cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the contracted program, the refund will be of the entire prepayment made. On the contrary, if the cancellation is made between 30 to 10 days before the program, it will be subject to the payments made for advances to other operators and their conditions, so a percentage of the payment made will be deducted, on the other hand, if the cancellation of the program is less than 10 days from the beginning of the voyage, the prepayment made will not be reimbursed. The early resignation is made during the development of the trip and for personal reasons, this will be charged 100% of the value paid for the program. In case of extreme and natural conditions beyond our reach, such as snow that hinders our movement, strong winds over 100 km per hour or other weather condition that prevents us from continuing with our route, which represents a risk to the safety of our passengers, the guide may decide to modify the itinerary of the program. In order to resume the march in more favorable climatic conditions, taking a different route or ending the extreme activities, in any of these cases, no refunds will be made. Our company is not responsible for delays caused by bad weather, natural disasters, illnesses, or any other event beyond our reach and control; any cost incurred by passengers and caused by delays will be their responsibility. Hospitalization expenses or expenses caused by air, sea or other evacuations that are not included in the travel programs are not included. By making the initial payment of 50% of the total trip you agree to the terms and conditions described in this document. We recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance for your protection in case of illness. Please contact your travel agent for more information.
